Centered in Indigeneity, there is NO FEE for Native/Indigenous membership. Indigenous Media Guild’s annual membership requires a community trade. Members share skills via participation in workshops and mentorship programs- or through blocks of volunteer hours.

Indigenous Media Gulld offers advocacy on and off set. Our goal is to amplify Indigenous voices, and create more space within larger, mainstream unions such as IATSE, and other industry related organizations. We are working to support you.

IMG Members have access to regional networking events, workshops, and IMG’s Mini Film Festivals. Screen your projects, and see others work come to life. Members also have the opportunity to participate in mentorship-help other members by sharing your industry knowlege, and learn valuable trade skills. The mentorship program helps create a strong Indigenous industry support network while connecting with non Native Ally members.

Members can utilize IMG’s internal directory to find experienced Indigenous/Native cast, crew, and ally members for any size production.

IMG offers scholarships and funding for Native/Indigenous members who wish to pursue formal training in their respective specialties.
